On Tuesday, January 8, 2013, a 17-year-old River Hill High School student was struck by a car on his way to school, according to The Baltimore Sun. The student was struck by a 1998 Honda Accord while crossing Linden Linthicum Lane, near Little Bells Row, at 7:30 a.m.
The student was flown to the Shock Trauma Center in serious condition. Howard County Police indicated that the young man was in a crosswalk at the time of the pedestrian accident. The investigation was ongoing, and no charges had been filed.
