Ritchie Highway Car Wreck Injures Passenger
A car crash on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at about 1:20 a.m. occurred when a Lexus sedan struck a Mercedes Benz on the northbound lanes of Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, reported The Baltimore Sun. When the Lexus rolled over on its side, a passenger was thrown from the vehicle. She was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and treated for life-threatening injuries.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said that speed, alcohol usage, and failure to obey a traffic control device may have contributed to the car crash.
